It is essential to note that this would be considering the ideas related to network connectivity process and communication methods in a network. Apart from the mentioned, this would be inclusive of hardware and software elements within a network with addition to the various protocols for network communications. In addition, the concepts related to cloud computing and network architecture for a business has been thoroughly discussed for a detailed understanding of the weekly learning of the associated prospects.

Weekly Learnings
Network connectivity in current computing

Throughout the weekly learnings, it could be mentioned that the current age of computing would be massively oriented with the prospects of networking. This would be further associated with the ideas related to network connectivity and the process of connectivity in the current computing prospects (Vošner et al., 2016). Hence, the specific learning points that would be essential to mention would be as follows:

Connection-oriented communication: The primary concept of connection-oriented communication or services would be achieved through dedicated connections between data transfer nodes. This would be further associated with the possibilities and the entries being able to communicate with one another through data streams or packets. This could also be associated with the procedure of a network at service that would be addressing the same order of the sender packet to the receiver's end, and all would be attained with the aid of a dedicated communication medium (Junaid et al., 2017).

Network types: The ideas and the consideration of the types of networks had been a great part of the weekly studies. Though, it has been explored that there are 11 specific types of network that could be deployable at various prospects. However, the learning module had been limited to three types of network. This would be a Home-based network that could be observed in any domestic household (Lin& Yu, 2016). This would be composed of local and public usage of the internet that would constitute wired or wireless possibilities. Next would be the Campus-type network and the internet that would be a mix of various types of connections and would be limited to public and private usage as per the requirement.

Principles of communicating in networks
The primary principles would be associated with various types of networking. The weeks of learning would be related to the information of the Network layer, and transport layer that would be essential for building the communication network. Hence, the primary elements that would be associated with the establishment of a communication network would be as follows:

  • Network address translation: Commonly known as NAT is often referred to as a method. This would be related to the remapping of the IP address. The moderation would be done into another space by modifying the network address information. This would be related to the moderation into the IP header of the data packets and would be associated with demodulation in transits (Al-Darrab, Al-Darrab & Rushdi, 2020).
  • Data units: Data units would be the building blocks of a network where the data units would be the basic data packets. This would be rearranged by the receiver’s end and would be confirming a sensible price of information for both the parties.
  • Router communication: The prospect of router communication would be related to the forward progression of the data units. This would be related to the communication of the network devices or the routers to culminate a proper path that would be essential for the data to reach the receiver for the sender’s end.
  • Switching types: Initially, there are three types of switches that would be associated with networking. While circuit and packet switching methods would be widely used. They would be used for general communication and in various layers of networking communication (Wegmann, Snagowski & Brand, 2016). Yet, the other would be least used with limited application in general networking processes.

The functionality of H/W and S/W elements in network communication
It is essential to note that the following would be associated with the fundamentals related to the software and the hardware aspects related to network communication. Apart from the mentioned, this would be associated with the establishment of a network.

  • Reference models of networking:
    • TCP/IP Model: This would be further associated with the four layers of networking. The mentioned would be related to the network interface, the internet, the transport layer and the application layer.
    • OSI Reference Model: One of the most secure and massively used models of networking would be mentioned. This would be related to the seven potential layers of network and would be assuring safe translation of data (Mu?ller et al., 2016).
  • Operation of basic networking hardware
    • Network Interface Card (NIC) or ports: This would be associated with the hardware element that would be able to relate to a connected network. This would be often mentioned as the circuit board that would be placed within a computer and related to the LAN port. This would be associated with controllers and network adapters.
    • Hubs, switches, and routers: The mentioned would be observed to be the primary elements associated with the control system of a network. This would be related to the primary hardware elements that connect the intranet or the various nodes of communication to one another.

Protocols of network communication
While considering the various protocols and the process of communication, it is essential to note that the primary concerns and the point of learning would be widely associated with the following ideas.

  • Internet Protocol: This would be commonly known as the IP and is associated with the ideas of IP addressing. It is essential to note that IP would be mentioned as a set of addresses and routing data that would be related to the internet. Additionally, this would be associated with the ideas of subnet masking and the ideas of providing disintegrated networking system to a massive amount of users.
This would be related to the seven potential layers of network and would be assuring safe translation of data.
  • Address Resolution Protocol: This is often referred to as the ARP and would be working on the 2nd and the 3rd layer of the OSI model. The mentioned would be related to the data link layer and would constitute a link between the IP address and the network layer (Kun et al., 2016).

Cloud Computing
The primary elements and the key learning points associated with a cloud computing prospect have been mentioned accordingly. However, it is essential to note that the prospect of cloud computing would be widely associated with the ideas of Routing table, Framing, MAC address binding, Error detection techniques, Error correction techniques, and Media access control. This would be further associated with the ideas that have been mentioned below:

  • Software as a Service (SaaS): This would be the process of delivering an application over the use of networking or the internet. This could be associated with the aspects of Netflix.
  • Development as a Service (DaaS): Often associated with the likes of VID or the outsourcing to the third parties for hosting services.
  • Data as a Service (DaaS): Neither considered a good or bad service that would be associated with the transfer of data as the clear account of services (Al-Qarni, Almogren & Hassan, 2019).
  • Platform as a Service (PaaS): The mentioned is often associated with the embedded applications of Google that provides a primary platform to constitute cloud computing aspects through an embedded network.
  • Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS): The mentioned would be related to the basic infrastructure that would be constituted to relate to a cloud network. This would often be related to contributing to fog networks.

Network architecture for business
It is essential to note that the network architecture of business would be specially based on the requirements of the venture or the business. Hence, it is essential to note that building a network architecture as per business would be based on the specification of the business and the relative requirements. This would constitute the primary understandings and the knowledge gained through the vivid learnings about network peripherals and aspects. However, the primary points to consider while constituting business architecture would be the types of possible networks. Hence, the types of the network would be as follows:

  • Client/Server: This would be a basic type of network. This would be including a centralised system that would be powerful and is termed the server. While the connecting nodes would be acting as the clients.
  • Peer-to-peer: This is commonly known as the P2P network. The mentioned types of the network would constitute the computer system where multiple computers would be connected through the internet. Hence, sharing of data and files and would specifically direct (Mazloomdoost et al., 2016).
  • Host-based: The mentioned would be related to a host computing system as the primary point of connections, and all the connected nodes would be the child-nodes to the host computer.
  • Cloud: A cloud system would be a computer networking system with no specific physical needs. All would be connected to a decentralised database and would be widely a wireless communication. This is often regarded as the current age of technology.
