Introduction
The present project management assignment is focused on the concept of bathroom renovation that can be described as a project of renovating and designing a bathroom by removing demolish and damaged items of bathroom and install new equipment and features to it. There are many steps to renovate a bathroom such as removing damaged fixtures, painting the walls, installing new shower, bathtub and faucets, using tiles for floor construction, installing electrical equipment such as lights, fans, heaters and many more. In this project the project manager of the company has decided to renovate some bathrooms of customers.
Background
In this project the project manager of the company has decided to provide benefits to customers to attract them towards the company. The project manager announced to give benefits such as offers, discounts and payment on installments to attract more customers towards the brand. In addition, the management has decided to provide luxury bathroom essentials such as bathtub, hand shower, basin and geezer to provide customer a modern luxurious bathroom. Company has provided good quality tiles and well-designed equipment to please and attract their customer.
Objective
- To let more people, know about the company
- To attract sponsors, customers and media towards the brand
- To increase the sale of products and services of the company
- Maintain the public relation between customers and the company
Description
The sponsor of this project was the Project manager of civil department and he was elected as the leader of this project. Project manager of the company had submitted a plan for this project to the hierarchies which has many steps such as management of project, making the plan for designing floors, walls and equipment for the bathrooms. Then there are needs of permits such as permit for electrical supply and permit for plumbing. In the next part of the plan there are needs to remove every possible disposal materials such as lights, fans, ventilation fan, bathtub, sink, basin, shower faucets, tub faucets and flooring. The final stage is installation and, in this part installation of new lights, fans, heater and other electrical equipment is done. Bathroom essentials such as shower faucets, tub faucets, tub and hand shower were installed. Rough plumbing of the bathrooms such as pipe fitting and faucet fitting were done in this stage.
Stakeholder Analysis
Stakeholder analysis can be determined as a process where people related and engaged with the project are identified and they are grouped according to their participation level (Heagney, 2016). In this bathroom renovation project, there were two types of stakeholders related to the project such as internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.
Internal Stakeholders
Internal stakeholders can be described as the entities that are connected within business. In this project employees of the company, project manager, civil engineers, contractor, designers and workers are internal stakeholders.
External Stakeholders
External stakeholders can be described as the entities that are not directly connected or not within the business (Meredith et al., 2017). In this project, customers, sponsors, neighbors of customers, government, suppliers and subcontractors are external stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities of Stakeholders
There are certain roles and responsibilities of stakeholders in a bathroom renovation project such as:
Project Manager: Project manager can be mentioned as the main stakeholder of the project, who have so many major duties such as to look over the quality and design of renovation work, managing the time and cost of the project, managing the employees of company and labors of project (Kerzner, 2017).
Engineers: Engineers look over the structure of floors, walls and design of the bathrooms. In addition, they make plan for construction and electrical works needed for the project.
Designers: Designers helps to design the walls and floors of the bathroom and refer suitable materials for the bathroom essentials.
Employees: Employees of company looks over the cost of the project, manage suppliers, contractors and labors for the project. Employees provide necessary information to the hierarchy about the project.
Contractor: Contractor manages provides and manages labors in local area. In addition, they look after the project works and the labors working for the project.
Subcontractors: Subcontractors plays the role of providing labors, equipment and renting equipment for the contractor.
Suppliers: Suppliers are major stakeholders who supplies essential equipment and materials for the project.
Workers and Labors: Workers and labors looks over the project work and try to finish the project in time.
Sponsors: Sponsors provide the money for the project to keep the project work on in the project site.
Customers: Customers look over the project work after the project is finished and hand over by the project management.
Territory of the Project area: Neighbors of the customers and other people in the project area provide no objection certificate to the project management as they have no problems due to the construction work in the area.
Government: Government provides all the permissions to the company to continue the construction work for the project.
Risk Analysis
Risk analysis can be defined as identifying the risks of a project and evaluate those to avoid any harm for the project and people related to the project (Burke, 2013). Construction projects has so many risks such as leaks in the pipeline, shortages, poor design of floor, poor planning of project, injuries, accident, price rise of materials and many more.
To avoid these risks project management had taken necessary steps such as project manager has prepared a plan b for accidents, injuries and natural disaster. Labors and workers are provided safety kits to wear. There was an ambulance in the project site provided by project management of the company.

Conclusion
Bathroom renovation project was a very successful step of project management to attract more customers towards the brand. The quality and design provided by the company was very much appreciated by the customers of the company. The company management is looking forward to do more bathroom renovation project as it has helped the company so much to connect with more people and grow their business in the industry. Moreover, bathroom renovation project can be determined as one of the most successful projects of the company.
